About the trust

Vivekanandha Trust, established in 2014 by two young professionals, D. Balu and his friend, aims to tackle the persistent poverty in rural India. They believed that educated professionals could bring empathy and knowledge to uplift communities. Inspired by the spirit of Vivekanandha's ideals of giving back, the Trust works on grassroots initiatives. Collaborating with the government, they have developed programs like SHG formation and farmers' clubs, driving sustainable change. The organization raises funds from various sources to support vulnerable groups, including children, youth, women, the disabled, and the elderly, empowering them to lead better lives.
